Types of Donors

1. Donor

  • Appointed by the Faculty
  • Contributes funds, goods, or assets to support activities
  • Entitled to specific benefits as prescribed

2. Associate Donor

  • Honorary Associate Donor Levels 1, 2, 3, or Special (as appointed by the Faculty)
  • Relatives or descendants of a donor
  • Not required to be immediate family members (up to three persons may be designated)

Types of Medical Expenses

Medical expenses eligible for deductions according to benefit levels
  • Room charges
  • Medical expenses, including procedural fees, surgical fees, childbirth expenses, anesthesia services, diagnostic services, laboratory tests, radiological examinations, medications, medical supplies, and other service charges (in accordance with the items reimbursable as prescribed by the Comptroller General’s Department)
  • Donors entitled to civil servant medical benefits may receive deductions for expenses exceeding the benefit ceiling, limited to items reimbursable as prescribed by the Comptroller General’s Department
  • Additional items announced by the Faculty as eligible for deductions for donors
Medical expenses not covered under the benefit deduction scheme
  • Medical services provided at special clinics
  • Special nursing fees
  • Costs of medications, medical supplies, and other services not reimbursable under the Comptroller General’s Department regulations
  • Costs of prosthetics and therapeutic medical devices
  • Special examinations required to be conducted at external facilities not available within the Faculty
  • Other non-medical expenses, such as food, telephone charges, electricity, and drinking water
